Terms of Use

Last updated: 25 June 2026

These terms are a plain-English agreement between you and Gee IT Pty Ltd(“we”, “us”), the maker of The Fridge Gallery (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Who can use The Fridge Gallery

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract. Accounts are for adults — parents, guardians and the grandparents and family they invite. Children don't have accounts; a parent creates and manages each child's profile. By adding a child's artwork or details, you confirm you are that child's parent or guardian, or have their permission.

Your account

  • Keep your sign-in details secure. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
  • A family is one shared gallery. People you invite (a second parent, grandparents) become members and can see, react to and comment on your family's artwork, according to their role.
  • Tell us promptly at hello@thefridgegallery.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

Your content stays yours

Your children's artwork, photos, titles and notes are yours. We don't claim ownership of them. You grant us only the limited permission we need to run the Service for you — to store, process, back up, and display your content to you and the people you choose to share it with, and to create the gallery-ready versions described below.

  • We never sell your content, and we never use it to train AI models.
  • You can download a full-resolution archive of everything at any time — free, forever, even after a paid plan ends.
  • You are responsible for the content you upload, and you confirm you have the right to upload it.

How we process artwork

When you photograph a piece, we clean the photo— correcting the camera angle, glare and shadow — while faithfully preserving the child's exact marks and colours. We don't redraw the art.Some processing uses third-party AI image services; exactly what is and isn't sent to AI is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Please don't use the Service to:

  • upload content you don't have the right to upload;
  • upload anything unlawful, harmful, or that infringes someone else's rights or privacy;
  • attempt to break, overload, scrape, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or other families' data;
  • resell or commercially exploit the Service without our consent.

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or put other families' data at risk.

Plans, prices and billing

  • The Fridge Gallery is free to start. Paid plans add more room, features and child galleries — see Pricing. We charge one family price — never a per-piece charge.
  • On iOS, subscriptions and one-time add-ons are sold through your Apple App Store account; on the web, through our payment provider (Stripe). Prices are shown in the currency and inclusive of taxes as displayed at checkout.
  • Subscriptions renew automaticallyfor the same period unless cancelled beforehand. App Store purchases are managed in your device's account settings; web purchases can be managed from the app.
  • One-time add-ons (such as the Sculpture Top-Up Pack) are consumable and non-refundable once used, except where the law requires otherwise.

Cancelling, and what happens to your gallery

You can cancel any time — one tap, no maze, no exit fee. Your art is always yours to export. If your saved artwork is over the free tier when a paid plan ends, you get 30 days to log in and download your full archive; after that your gallery is paused and safely cold-stored — never deleted — and re-subscribing restores everything exactly as you left it. The full policy is on our Data Deletion page.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from within the app (Family → Delete my account) or on the web. Deletion is permanent and family-aware:

  • If you are the last member of your family, deleting your account permanently removes the whole gallery— every child's artwork, all stored files, and your subscription record — and it cannot be undone.
  • If other members still share the family, you are removed and your personal account is deleted, but the shared gallery remains for them.

Deleting your account does notautomatically cancel a subscription billed through the App Store — manage that in your device's account settings. See also the Data Deletion page.

Availability

We work hard to keep the Service running, but we provide it “as is” and can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may add, change or remove features over time. If we ever discontinue the Service, we'll give you reasonable notice and a way to export your content.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot be excluded. Where it can be limited, our liability is limited, at our option, to re-supplying the Service or paying the cost of having it re-supplied. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Changes to these terms

If we make a material change, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you and we submit to the courts of that jurisdiction.
