For parents
Getting started
You'll need a phone or tablet, an email address, and about five minutes. That's all.
Make your free account
- Open the app, or go to thefridgegallery.com on your phone.
- Tap the orange “Start preserving — free” button.
- Type in your email address and tap send.
- Open your email. You'll see a message from us with a link.
- Tap that link. You're in. No password to remember.
You can't break anything by trying. If a step looks wrong, close it and start again.
Add your child (the artist)
- Tap “Add artist.”
- Type your child's name and age.
- Pick a little picture for them, or add one. This is optional.
- Tap “Save.”
This is the name that shows on their gallery, like a little sign next to a real painting. You can add more than one child.
Add your first artwork
- Tap the “+” button.
- Point your camera at the drawing or painting.
- Try to fit the whole picture inside the frame.
- Tap the round button to take the photo.
- Wait a moment. We tidy up the photo for you.
- Done. It now hangs in your child's gallery.
We only remove the shadow and straighten the photo. We never change what your child drew. Every wobbly line stays exactly as it was.
You can't break anything by trying. Upload as many as you like.

If something looks wrong
- The photo looks dark.
- Try again near a window, not under a ceiling light.
- The app can't find the artwork.
- Make sure the whole drawing shows in the frame.
- You added the wrong picture.
- Tap the artwork, tap the three dots, then tap “Delete.” This only removes it here. It does not delete the photo from your phone.
For parents

Choose what they can see
Family members can look only. They can leave a heart or a kind note, but they can't change or remove your child's art.
- To remove someone, tap “Family.”
- Tap their name.
- Tap “Remove access.”
If something looks wrong
- Grandma says the link doesn't work.
- Ask her to try a different browser, like Safari or Chrome. If it still won't open, send her a fresh link from the Family screen.
- You want to remove someone.
- Tap “Family,” tap their name, then tap “Remove access.”
For grandparents
You tapped a link. Here's what to do.
Welcome. You are about to see your grandchild's artwork. You do not need an account. You do not need to download anything. You cannot break a thing. You are only looking.
You cannot accidentally delete or change anything. You are only looking. 💛
Pictures hang on the walls. The glowing dots and arrows on the floor show you where you can step.
Open the message from your family. It may be a text or an email.
Tap the link. It looks like blue underlined writing.
A page opens showing the gallery. There is nothing to download. Just wait a moment for it to load.
The gallery looks like a little room, with your grandchild's pictures hanging on the walls.
To look around the room, gently drag one finger across the screen — like slowly turning your head to see the walls.
To walk up to a picture, tap one of the glowing dots or arrows on the floor. That's the only tapping you need to do.
To say you loved a picture, tap the little heart under it. Your grandchild will see it.
To leave a voice message, tap the microphone. Hold it down while you talk, then let go.

- I can't find the link anymore.
- Ask your family to send you a new one. It takes them less than a minute.
- I want to see it again later.
- Save the page in your browser, or just ask your family for the link whenever you like.
