Delete your data
Last updated: 15 June 2026
Deleting your whole account
You can delete your account yourself, right from the app — it takes effect immediately:
- On iPhone: open the Family tab and tap Delete my account, then confirm.
- On the web: go to your family settings and choose Delete my account (type your email to confirm).
Deletion is family-aware: if you are the last member of your family, your whole gallery and every file is permanently removed straight away. If others still share the family, you are removed and your personal account is deleted, but the shared gallery stays for them. It can't be undone.
Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription billed through the App Store — manage that in your device's account settings. Prefer us to do it for you? Email privacy@thefridgegallery.com and we'll process it within 30 days.

What we keep, and why
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Billing transaction records (e.g. Stripe/Apple/Google transaction IDs — never card numbers) | Required by Australian financial record-keeping law (generally up to 5 years), then deleted |
| Anonymous aggregate counts (e.g. total artworks processed) | Contain no personal identifiers and can't be linked back to you |
Delete a single artwork (without deleting your account)
You can do this yourself, any time, as a parent: open the artwork and use the delete option (on the web app or the mobile app). This removes the artwork record and all of its files — the original, enhanced, framed, thumbnail and back-of-artwork images, plus any sculpture angle photos and 3D model — along with its comments and reactions.
Delete a child profile
There isn't yet an in-app button to remove a child profile. To delete a child — and all artwork attributed to them — include the child's name in your deletion email.
If you signed in with Apple, Google or Facebook
Deleting your account here doesn't delete your Apple, Google or Facebook account. To disconnect The Fridge Gallery from a provider:
- Apple: Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple → The Fridge Gallery → Stop using
- Google: myaccount.google.com → Security → Third-party apps with account access
- Facebook: Settings → Apps and Websites
About our subprocessors
When we delete your data we remove it from our own stores (Supabase and Wasabi). Artwork and sculpture images are only sent to fal.ai transiently for processing and we don't keep copies with them; fal.ai's own retention is governed by their privacy policy. Billing records held by Stripe, Apple or Google are governed by those platforms' financial-record retention rules. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
